The origin – dogfooded before it had a name

Redmineflux is the product we built for ourselves – first and a mix of customers, partners, and internal teams. We were also drowning in tools: one project-management app for the agile squads, another for the ops teams, Excel sheets for anything that didn't fit, sticky notes for anything that didn't fit the Excel sheets. Tasks slipped through the gaps. Estimates drifted. Deadlines moved without anyone noticing.

So we picked Redmine – open-source, self-hostable, structured – and started customising it to match how we actually worked. Plugins for the capabilities Redmine missed. A theme that didn't look like 2008. Integrations with the tools our teams already lived in.

It grew. Slowly at first. Then not slowly. Today more than 350 users – our engineers, our customers, our implementation partners – run their day-to-day work on our Redmineflux system. Sprints, tickets, time-tracking, QA cycles, helpdesk, knowledge base – all of it, one platform, every day.

At some point we realised: this wasn't a Zehntech problem. Every serious team running Redmine hit the same walls we hit. So we packaged what we'd built, polished the rough edges, documented the workflows, and launched Redmineflux for everyone else.

Today hundreds of customers run on Redmineflux plugins, Bundles, and managed Cloud – from five-person startups to regulated enterprise teams across IT services, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, utilities, and cybersecurity. Every feature we ship has been through our own production floor first.

What We Build

Redmineflux extends Redmine with the capabilities teams actually need – without replacing the tool they have already built their operations around.

Why Redmine

Redmine has been a reliable, open-source project management platform for over fifteen years. It is flexible, self-hostable, and trusted by thousands of development teams globally.

The teams that choose Redmine know what they are doing. They want control over their data and infrastructure. They do not want to migrate to a SaaS platform every three years when pricing changes. They want a tool that can be configured to fit their process – not the other way around.
